Pooja Kumar, who acted in NRI Telugu movie Flavours, is back. She is acting in another desi film titled Anything For You. Directed by Anand Alagappan, the film is about an Indian American doc who caught between his wife (Indian) and his American girl, who wants him back at any cost. Apart from Pooja, the Juliana Fine and Sam Ghosh in the lead roles. It is getting ready for release. Shot in New York and India, Anything For You has already won an award (Silver Ace Award 2009) at Las Vegas Film Festival.
The film is the first Indian-American movie shot on RED camera and also this is Karthik Raja’s (Ilayaraja’s son) maiden English film as music director.
Anand Alagappan along with Ravi Gavva and Mahender Musuku started New York Talkies in 2007. Anand started his career with the TV show “We Love India”. Anything For You is his first feature film debut.

Movies and heroes are an integral part of many lives and it must be said that the Telugu circuit stands first in that list.
So now, the question arises as to who among the heroes is the number one. There was a time when the legendary NTR ruled the roost, after that it was the era of few others till Chiranjeevi entered the scene. He was the indomitable king of the industry till he left for a career in politics.
Now all that is past and the time has come to talk about the top ranker in the current generation heroes. The list is long and competition is strong with names like Mahesh Babu, Prabhas, NTR Jr, Ramcharan Teja, Nagachaitanya and others in the fray. Amongst the lot, there is a tough contention between NTR jr and Mahesh Babu.
Apparently, Mahesh happens to be the senior most among the young heroes in terms of age and presence in the industry. He is also holding the good success graph rates when it comes to delivering blockbuster hits. He has got an appeal among all genres of audience.
NTR is more of a mass hero and while his talent is unquestionable, the analysts say that it would take two or three more hits from him to take the throne.
Charan has just created a bang with his second film ‘Magadheera’ and some say that he is on his way to become a top contender soon.
Prabhas is one actor who scores 10/10 for fitting the bill of a perfect hero but then his scores at the box office have not been that great.
Now, star kid Nagachaitanya is all set to make his foray and the competition has got even tougher.
All this apart, there is always the threat from youth heroes like Gopichand, Varun Sandesh, Allu Arjun, Ram who definitely have the potential to get into the big league someday. Overall, the scales tend to weigh more towards Mahesh Babu for obvious reasons but it must be kept in mind that his last film that came almost two years ago was a failure and he needs to score at the box office though he has got a strong appeal among the audience. Only time will tell who can consolidate their success and take the crown.
