Thursday, February 12th, 2009
World’s leading international mobile operator Vodafone has selected the Perfecto Mobile system to provide Vodafone’s global network of Premium Partners, including device manufacturers and mobile application developers, with a secure online environment to access pre-launched handset devices.

The system will be used for pre-deployment development and testing. This will help Vodafone to ensure the quality of its handsets and embedded mobile apps and support the delivery of new handsets to market. It will also help to reduce the costs and logistics of the pre-deployment process.

The Perfecto Mobile system provides a web-based user-interface through which Vodafone and its partners can quickly and easily use any handset in the same way a real-life user would, through its keys, touch-screen, or QWERTY keyboard, to validate that the handset and is applications work properly. The system also enables users automate standard testing tasks.
In addition to its powerful remote access capabilities, the system provides a secure, shared testing environment to facilitate collaboration between testers, developers and device manufacturers.

New remote mobile application testing service for Blackberry developers community

Friday, November 21st, 2008
Perfecto Mobile launched a remote mobile application testing service for BlackBerry (BB) developers. The new service was introduced as part of the company’s sponsorship at the BlackBerry Developer Conference in Santa Clara on October 2008.

The mobile testing service enables the BB developer community to test new applications and software on live BlackBerry smartphones using an Internet based service. It will also enable developers to thoroughly test mobile products and services with the end result of better quality products delivered in a shorter time to market and at a lower overall cost.

Additionally, the service will offer Cross-Device Automated Solutions, which are designed to support development and testing processes. With Automated Solutions, users will be able to install applications on BlackBerry smartphones with a click of a button, automatically send SMS and email messages to the device under test and intuitively compare how their mobile web pages are displayed on different smartphones.

The mobile testing service is aimed at driving developers to ensure that their product or service works well on more BlackBerry smartphones and on the target mobile networks.

The Perfecto Mobile service is initially offered in the US and the UK and operates in conjunction with all the major mobile networks in these countries.
