Perfecto Mobile launched a new system that enables mobile operators, device manufacturers, mobile application developers and mobile content providers to create their own Private Mobile Handset Cloud.
The system provides an easy-to-use secure web environment where internal teams and external partners can access the exact same real mobile phone handsets.
The Handset cloud enables users share their own pre-launched and post-launched mobile handsets with the various teams and individuals involved in the product life cycle. Owners of the Private Handset Cloud can:
- Enable different groups in the organization, as well as external partners, to use existing handsets remotely without having to ship the devices
- Save costs and logistical efforts by using the Handset Cloud as part of their deployment processes, enabling access to devices in their target network
- Test and monitor deployed service end-to-end
- Automate QA procedures using real mobile handsets
- Automate application porting, on their own devices
